Frequently asked questions

What does the free scan actually check?

50 checks on one page — the ones whose verdict is a number against a published threshold, so no judgement is involved. You get a score, the full scorecard and your top issues. 5 scans a month, no card, no trial clock.

And what does paying add?

Two things. The check count goes from 210 to 233, because a crawl can answer site-wide questions a single page cannot — orphan pages, duplicate titles, broken internal links, how deep your important pages sit. And you get the written report: every finding explained, prioritised, with the evidence we measured it from and what to change. A site analysis (€19) crawls up to 100 pages; a page analysis (€9) writes the same report for one URL, without the site-wide sections. Both are paid once — no subscription.

How long does it take?

A free single-page scan is under a minute. A crawl is usually around twenty minutes depending on how many pages you asked for and how fast your server answers. You can close the tab — give us an email address and we’ll send the report when it’s done.

How many audits can I run at once?

Up to 1 site crawl, 2 single-page scans and 2 keyword checks running at the same time. Every audit goes through one shared queue, so a pile from one account would hold up everyone else’s. When a run finishes you can start the next one straight away, and it costs nothing extra.

Do I need an account?

Not for your first scan. Run one as a visitor and it’s yours; if you sign up afterwards, that scan comes with you.

Can I share a report with a client or a developer?

Yes. Every report can be given a share link that works without an account, and you can revoke it at any time. The share link hands over the report only — never the raw evidence file behind it, and never anything about your account.

Will this slow down or damage my site?

No. We only read: we fetch pages the way a browser or a search engine would, and we never submit a form, never post anything, and never try a URL you didn’t publish. Every probe that costs extra requests is capped, and the report tells you when a cap was hit — for example “only the first 12 of 79 were checked”. A crawl is bounded by the page count you chose.

Can I audit a site I don’t own?

You can audit any publicly reachable website — everything we look at is what a search engine already sees. We refuse addresses that aren’t public, so the scanner can’t be pointed at a private network.

Why does my report say a check was “not measured”?

Because it was not, and saying so is the point. Some checks need data only you can supply (Search Console, your backlink export). Some need a page we were blocked from reading. Those checks are left out of your score entirely, counted neither as passes nor against you — a check we couldn’t run is not a check you passed, or one you failed. Your report lists them and says what would unlock each one.

Does the score come from an AI?

No. The score is arithmetic done in code, and the same evidence always produces the same number. A model writes the explanations in a paid report; it is never asked to produce or adjust the score. Full method here.

Will fixing everything in the report improve my rankings?

We can’t promise that, and nobody honestly can. Rankings depend on your competitors, your content and choices Google doesn’t publish. What we can promise is narrower: every finding is something we measured on your site, ordered by how much it’s likely to matter, so your time goes to the fixes that count first. Be wary of any audit that guarantees a position.

The scan says my site served a block page. Now what?

Your firewall or bot protection stopped us before we saw a page, so there was nothing to measure and the audit wasn’t charged — the run goes back, or the free scan isn’t counted. If it’s your site, allow our scanner’s one fixed IP through — how to do that, per firewall.

How long do you keep my reports?

Report files are deleted about a month after the audit finishes; the record that you ran it stays in your account history. You can delete your account and its data at any time — how, and what we store.
